CCTV Outlet Inc. Warranty
CCTV Outlet Inc. will repair or replace (at our option), without charge, any product proven defective in material or workmanship. The warranty period for specific product types is listed below.
• CCTV Outlet Inc. Products offer a 3-Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty.
• All products sold by CCTV Outlet Inc. are warranted by their respective manufacturer unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Damage caused by misuse, negligence, alteration, normal wear, or accident is not covered under this warranty.
CCTV Outlet Inc. assumes no risk and shall not be subject to liability for damages or loss resulting from the specific use or application made of products.
• All non-CCTV Outlet Inc. products, such as hard drives, are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, which is beyond the control of CCTV Outlet Inc.

Returns
30-Day "No Questions Asked" Return Policy:
CCTV Outlet Inc. will accept returns of new, unopened items within 30 days of the shipping date for store credit (excluding shipping expenses). This store credit can be used to purchase any items on our website. Store credits will be valid for 90 days and must be used within that time or they will expire. An RMA number is required before shipping the return back to us. To obtain an RMA, please go to our HELP DESK AND SUBMIT A REQUEST. Only new and unopened items will be accepted under this 30-day return policy. Products that show any signs of wear, or that are not packaged like new with all accessories and manuals, will NOT be accepted under this return policy. After the 30-day grace period, all items are subject to the General Return Policy below.
Special Order Items are excluded from the 30-day return policy, including all explosion-proof security cameras, housings, and boxes of bulk cable.
General Return Policy:
Used or opened items within the warranty period from the original ship date may only be returned if the item is defective. If you believe a product is defective, you must contact us for instructions, and an RMA (Return Material Authorization) will be issued if technical support deems it necessary. To obtain the RMA, please submit a request through our HELP DESK. Any return sent without prior authorization will be denied, automatically returned without prior notice, and a handling fee will be assessed. Technical support will issue an RMA number, which must be placed on the outside of your packaging, not on the item’s packaging.
Under no circumstances will returns be accepted if the original packaging and parts/contents are not maintained, if the packaging has any writings or markings, or if the product has been modified or altered. Any missing items from the original package will be charged on a per-item basis. RMAs are valid for 10 days from the date of authorization. This warranty will not apply to defects or damage resulting from improper or inadequate maintenance, customer-supplied parts, unauthorized modification or misuse, operation outside of environmental specifications, improper site preparation, or use of other companies’ parts or accessories. Any alterations to the unit void all warranties and obligations. Any items that have electrical damage, have been damaged due to a power surge or Acts of God, or have a removed serial number will void the warranty. Buyer is responsible for all shipping and insurance charges on returns, while CCTV Outlet Inc. will cover return shipping to the customer within the Continental USA. For international orders, all shipping charges must be paid by the customer. We will send repaired goods only to freight forwarders in the U.S. Products should be mailed back prepaid by insured parcel post to CCTV Outlet Inc. If the parcel was not insured and the return was refused, the buyer is responsible for any loss or damage.
Upon receiving an authorized RMA, all returned items will be tested to confirm suspected defects. If the unit in question is found defective, it will be repaired or a replacement unit of the same or comparable model will be shipped at no cost to the buyer (Ground delivery, Continental USA only). Expedited shipping is available at the buyer's expense. If the defective item is an out-of-stock or discontinued model, a pro-rated store credit will be issued. If the unit is tested and ultimately deemed not defective, it will be shipped back to the buyer at the buyer's expense.
RMA SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS
Please keep our inner and outer packaging when processing a return. Shipping a DVR protected only by the DVR packaging and omitting the additional outer packaging is unacceptable. Major couriers are not gentle with products. Please return any item using all packaging and boxes originally sent. Never apply address markings or RMA markings to a DVR or camera box; apply all markings to the outer packaging. If a return is shipped back properly, no additional charges will be deducted from store credit. If we must purchase a new box or replace missing accessories, a minimum 20% restocking fee will be deducted from store credit, potentially higher depending on material costs. Avoid unnecessary expenses by using the original packaging and including all accessories.
Advanced Replacements for Suspected Defective Products
Advanced replacements may be purchased only under the following circumstances:

If the item can be repaired, the defective item will be repaired and sent back to the buyer, and no credit of any kind will be refunded on the advanced replacement.

If the item is found NOT defective, it will be sent back to the buyer at the buyer’s expense, and no credit of any kind will be refunded on the advanced replacement.

If the advanced replacement was purchased on a credit card, credit will be applied back to the same credit card upon verification of a non-repairable defect. If an advanced replacement was purchased with another method (cash, money orders, or wire transfers), account credit will be applied.
The suspected defective item must be returned within 10 days.
If a shipment is returned to CCTV Outlet Inc. due to failure to pick up or insufficient funds, the original shipping charge, return shipping charge, associated fees, and a 10-25% processing fee may be assessed.
CCTV Outlet Inc. makes no further warranty, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness. In no event will CCTV Outlet Inc. be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, including damage to any closed-circuit video equipment. Unless otherwise noted, all refunds will be issued in the form of store credit. If products ordered are not available, a refund will be issued upon customer request.
Note: All Store Credits expire within 90 days of issue.
Legal Status of Products
It is the responsibility of the buyer to ascertain and comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws regarding the possession and use of any items purchased. Consult an attorney regarding such laws before placing an order. Check local state laws for audio recording regulations. By placing an order, the buyer represents that they are of legal age and agree to use the product lawfully. CCTV Outlet Inc. assumes no liability associated with product usage.
